Welcome to this week's edition of WIAW! Since the slight weather change, I have been convinced that it is really fall and therefore I am allowed to switch over to warm foods ( along with sweaters, scarfs, boots, etc). 80 degrees? Pretty much almost winter. I did happen to notice ( and remind Kyle every night this week so far) that Saturday the high is in the 50s! Yes, I get way too excited about the weather. Anywayyyyyyyy... Moving on.
My breakfast of choice this week
Gluten free apple cinnamon oatmeal with a little bit of Love Grown granola sprinkled on top
Lunch today was a treat! I got off of work early so I headed down for a lunch break with Kyle. This week is overtime week, so I thought it might be a nice break in his day.
Kyle works downtown and I have to admit, I felt ultra fancy driving down there in the middle of the day. I don't often have a reason to go downtown and it was really cool to see the hustle and bustle of the work week. We grabbed Chick-fil-a ( from the food court under his building!) and headed outside to this little park area across the street. It was delightful! I had chicken and fruit but I forgot to take a picture of that.
Since I had some extra time today, I decided to throw together a real dinner. We got some green beans at the farmers market last weekend and for some reason I am obsessed with green beans this week. So my dinner was really planned around the green beans.
I didn't finish those potatoes. I had to save room for an awesome cupcake that my mom picked up for me from Unrefined Bakery. I really can't say enough good things about their food. It is AWESOME. Everything is all natural, organic, gluten free and soy free. Dairy free is also available. If you have food allergies, make a point to check it out! They have now expanded to include smoothies, coffee, sandwiches, pizza, etc.
My workout plan this week has looked like this:
Sunday: Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred
Monday: Off
Tuesday: 30 Day Shred (I'm on level 2 and phew its rough!)
Wednesday: 4 miles (running)
Thursday: 30 Day Shred or off - I haven't decided yet
Friday: Gym Cardio or Outside Run
Saturday: See how I feel- Probably gym again
Hope everyone's week is going well! A blog facelift is currently officially in the works so I hope to reveal that sometime soon! Off to read the thoughts of all of the amateur politicians soon to be appearing on Facebook ;) . I hope everyone sees some State Fair action in their future!!!!
